Hello!

I’m Nichole, the artist behind Art by Nichole. I’m a self-taught artist just trying to make the world a more beautiful place with my art. Up until recently I’ve worked on Dot Mandalas, now I’m branching out and trying to develop my drawing and painting skills.

When I paint, I work with acrylics. All of my dot mandalas are done with acrylics as well. One day I’d love to explore oil paints.

When I draw, well that’s a different story. I don’t stick to one kind of drawing medium. I love using colored pencils, colored pens, graphite, charcoal, fineliners, conte and pastel. I’m not really a huge marker fan since they tend to bleed through the pages.

I live in NE Ohio with my husband and three cats. I have two degrees in Information Technology. I just recently launched my YouTube channel, consider joining me over there to follow along on all my artistic endeavors!
